Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Prism CFOs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our website at https://www.prismcfos.com (the “Site”) and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent, please do not access or use the Services.

You can contact us at info@amywelker.com or by phone at (650) 241-8222.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review this page periodically.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

When you use our Services, you may provide us with information directly. This includes:

  • Contact information you submit through our contact form or by email, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
  • Communications you send to us, including emails, feedback, and inquiries.

Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically collects certain aggregated, non-personally-identifiable information about traffic to the Site. This data is presented to us only in aggregate form (for example, total page views and visitor counts by country) and does not include individual IP addresses, device fingerprints, or other personal identifiers. We do not have access to individual visitor-level data from our hosting infrastructure.

We do not use any client-side analytics tools, tracking pixels, or advertising trackers on our Site.

Information We Do Not Collect

Our Site does not require you to create an account, and we do not process payments through the Site. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, health information, or precise geolocation data. We do not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking scripts.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries submitted through our contact form or email.
  • Administering and improving the Services, including reviewing aggregate traffic data provided by our hosting provider to understand overall site performance.
  • Protecting the security and integrity of the Services.
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Use.

If we want to use your information for any purpose not described here, we will ask for your consent first and will use your information only for the purpose(s) for which you grant consent, unless we are required to do otherwise by law.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We will not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Hosting provider: Our Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes web requests to serve the Site and provides us with aggregated, non-personally-identifiable traffic statistics. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your personal information (a) to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or other legal process; (b) to enforce our agreements with you, including this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use; or (c) to respond to claims that your use of the Services violates any third-party rights.
  • Business transfers: If our company is merged with or acquired by another company, your information will be among the assets transferred to the new owner. We will notify you before your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Contact form submissions: Retained for as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

Your Rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Receive a copy of your personal data in a portable format.
  • Restrict or object to the processing of your data.
  • Withdraw any consent you previously provided to us.
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@amywelker.com. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.

Additional Rights for California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These include:

  • Right to know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

Because we do not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking scripts, we do not “sell” or “share” your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

To submit a request, contact us at info@amywelker.com or (650) 241-8222. We will verify your identity before processing your request and will respond within 45 days as required by law.

Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information as defined by the CCPA:

  • Identifiers: name, email address (only when voluntarily submitted through our contact form).

We collect this information solely to respond to your inquiries. We do not collect internet activity information, device identifiers, or other electronic network data at the individual level.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site does not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking scripts. For information about the limited cookies that may be present (such as those set by our hosting provider for essential site functionality), please refer to our Cookie Policy.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to persons under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us.

International Data Transfers

Our Services are hosted in the United States (via Cloudflare's global network). If you access the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

Security

We take reasonable security measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our Site is served over HTTPS and hosted on Cloudflare, which provides DDoS protection and other security features. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because we do not use tracking technologies on our Site, DNT signals do not affect your experience. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as required by applicable law.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
